Therapeutic Use:

A broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, including respiratory, urinary tract, and skin infections.

Mechanism of Action:

Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, preventing DNA replication and bacterial proliferation. Targets both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
